Designed to accommodate 35 to 40 plastic cards, the Big Skinny Hipster Bi-Fold leather wallet also works in conjunction with Big Skinny’s Hipster Insert (which can accommodate another dozen cards; sold separately). This version of the Hipster Bi-Fold features an exterior constructed of top grain cowhide leather and an interior made of Big Skinny’s ultra-thin nylon microfiber material to help keep it thinner than a typical wallet. The wallet is divided into two stacks, which provides a neat flat surface instead of one big lump. It features three deep pockets that can hold more than eight cards apiece, an ID pocket with a clear plastic window that can also hold more than eight cards, a large hidden pocket that holds more than eight cards, and a deep billfold area. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. The Hipster bi-fold wallet measures 4-3/8 x 5-3/8 inches (and 3 mm thin when empty). The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company’s founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet.
